In the Northeast of England rumors have been spreading about the coming together of two of the regions finest Rhythm & Blues bands (the Alligators and the Scandalous Bachelors). But it can now be revealed that the rumors are true!! And have been for a number of years!!
The Bushwackers sound is an amalgimation of slide guitar with an authentic blues vocal formed around a solid rhythm section driving the band along. And as expected what they deliver is an authentic experience of British Rhythm and Blues, with a powerful sound reminiscent of the great British Blues Boom of the 1960′s!
The band is fronted by the rotund legend himself Ned aka “Fatboy Slimfast” amongst others, with one of the Uk’s leading slide players, George Fearon, at his side creating an unstoppable partnership of gutsy guitar and silky smooth vocals. The backbone of the band comes in the form of a solid rhythm section made up of “The Sherriff” behind the skins, with Ben grinding away at the Bass underpinning the bands unique groove and allowing the band to shift effortlessly across the entire dynamic of the bands sound.
R’n’B and we mean RHYTHM AND BLUES!! but with added grunt!!
